Neurosurgery in TUTH started from January 1, 1995 and first neurosurgical procedure namely laminotomy was performed successfully in February same year. Since then, Neurosurgery at TUTH has been working continuously to produce highly skilled manpower, to provide quality surgical service and to perform good research work.
Residency Program: MCh (3 Years) Currently 2 Residents per year.
- Surgeries for brain pathologies, brain tumors, infection, trauma, vascular.
- Surgeries for spine pathologies, tumors, infection, trauma, spinal fixation and fusion.
- Aneurysm Surgeries.
- Awake craniotomy for brain tumors.
